Wayne Nelms is co-founder and chief technology officer of Ornn, which builds financial products for compute. Ornn publishes the Ornn Compute Price Index, a transaction-based reference price for GPU rentals that was added to the Bloomberg Terminal in April 2026, and ICE has announced plans to list cash-settled GPU compute futures referencing it. The company raised a $33M seed round in June 2026 led by a16z crypto and co-led by Galaxy Ventures. He studied math and computer science at MIT and traded equity options at Susquehanna International Group before founding Ornn.
